Annual Conference

Below is the registration link for the 2023 IASBO Annual Conference, June 28th – 30th at The Riverside Hotel in Boise.

The cost of the conference is $175 for members and $250 for non-members. If you have not renewed your membership yet, you can renew at this link.

The conference agenda is still being finalized and will be sent out when completed. We have a lot of great sessions planned again this year; Clerk training, CTE Funding and CTE Certification, ASB Fundraising Best Practices, How to Prepare for your Annual Audit, Alternative Authorization Guidance and Legal Topics regarding Bonds and Levies, just to name a few. Workshops start Thursday, June 29th.

The annual 9-hole golf tournament will be held on Wednesday afternoon, June 28th at Warm Springs Golf Course. If you are interested in golfing please check the box on the registration form and we will email you the information.

Spring Financial Workshop
The IASBO Annual Spring Finance Workshop is scheduled for March 2 & 3 at The Riverside Hotel in Boise. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge on Idaho School Finance and we encourage you to attend. The cost of the workshop is $175 for members and $250 for non-members.

Spring Workshop Agenda

For those who will attend from out of town, please make your reservation request with the Riverside Hotel as soon as possible to get the “conference” block rate. Individuals seeking reservations should call The Riverside Hotel at 208-343-1871. Request reservations under the group name: “Idaho Assn. of School Business Officials” with the dates desired. Please call ASAP to receive the special group rate for single/double occupancy. The hotel address is 2900 Chinden Blvd, Boise, ID 83714.

New Business Managers Early Bird Session
For new business managers, the IASBO Board is excited to offer an early bird session on March 1st. The early bird session is for business managers that have held the position for two years or less. We will have limited capacity and IASBO members will be given priority. The cost of the one day workshop is $75.00 per attendee. Please bring a laptop.

If you do not plan to attend the Finance Workshop but want to renew your membership, you will still click on the Register button. Under Attendee Selection you will choose 2023 IASBO Membership. Annual Membership is January through December. Renewal is in January each year. An individual membership is $150.00 per person. Effective January 1, 2023 we no longer offer a group membership rate. Each person in your organization will need their own membership.
